Inauguration of Rehabilitation Works in Salvador Garden, Seera District, under the "Peace Gardens" Project
Funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented in partnership with CARE International and the Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation (PCF), comprehensive restoration and maintenance works were officially launched on Thursday morning at Salvador Garden in Seera District. This followed the formal handover of the project site to the implementing contractor by the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, marking the start of field implementation under the project entitled:
“Peace Gardens Project: Promoting Community Safety through the Rehabilitation of Public Spaces in Seera District – Aden.”
The inauguration was attended by Eng. Saleh Al-Radaei, Director of the Gardens Department at the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, along with the Coordination, Monitoring, and Evaluation (M&E) team, as well as Eng. Mohammed Al-Rayashi, representing CARE International. During the event, the work plan and implementation mechanisms were reviewed, with an emphasis on adherence to technical standards that preserve the garden’s aesthetic and environmental character, thereby reinforcing its role as a safe and vibrant recreational space for the community.
