Our Services
Providing MHPSS Services and Community Outreach for Vulnerable Groups
PCF provides specialized and focused MHPSS services to the most vulnerable populations. These populations include displaced persons, prisoners, the elderly, children in orphanages, individuals with special needs, etc. PCF also implements mental health and psychosocial support awareness campaigns. These campaigns aim to raise awareness of the importance of mental well-being and combat the stigma associated with mental illness. Additionally, daily awareness sessions are held within our MHPSS facilities to foster understanding and support among beneficiaries and their caregivers.
Training and Capacity Building
PCF delivers training and workshops in mental health and psychosocial support, targeting psychologists, social workers, psychology students, civil society workers, and religious and community leaders. The Foundation's objective is to integrate mental health and psychosocial support into key sectors, including, but not limited to:
Education: Promoting mental health for students and providing psychosocial support services in schools.
Health: Equipping health workers with the skills to identify, support, and refer individuals with mental health problems while also strengthening the capacity of existing MHPSS professionals.
Climate: Addressing the psychological impacts of climate change and empowering communities to adapt to these changes.
Food Assistance
In response to Yemen's dire economic situation and the resulting food insecurity crisis, PCF implements initiatives to distribute food assistance targeting the most vulnerable populations, including female heads of households, internally displaced persons, and marginalized communities. The food assistance includes essential food items such as flour, sugar, rice, cooking oil, legumes, and others.
Cash Assistance
PCF strives to provide cash assistance through benefactors to support low-income and highly vulnerable individuals. Cash assistance contributes to meeting various needs for the targeted group, including access to food and healthcare.
