Who are we:

Psychiatric Care  Developmental Foundation is a Yemeni non-governmental foundation which provides psychological and social treatment and guidance services to individuals and families who have psychological and social issues,including gender-based violence. The foundation provides specialized training programs to psychological service providers both the private and public sector . The foundation was established at the end of year 2019 as a result of the critical necessity and need to psychological services as well as the founders’ belief of the necessity of the existence of an independent, humanitarian and efficient body that contributes to boosting the efficiency of the health sector and provides psychological services to the society in general and to societies affected  by war and natural disasters in particular. The foundation works under a license from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor. The foundation scope of work covers all Yemeni governorates.

The foundation endeavors to being one of the pioneering foundations in providing specialized and highly-efficient psychological and social services.

Devoting all the foundation resources to providing specialized and highly-efficient psychological and social services.

Objectives: 

1-Boosting the individual and collective awareness of mental and social health.

2-Providing distinctive services in the arena of mental and social treatment and guidance.

3-Providing specialized psychological programs.

4-Contributing in securing post crises and disasters psychological and social support, protection and treatment.

5-Networking and expanding the foundation partnership with the local, regional and international organizations of same interest.

6-Promote access to education opportunities for all in a manner consistent with the possibilities of the institution and consistent with the laws in force.

7- Economic empowerment of communities and enhancement of livelihoods.

8- Contribute to raising awareness of the importance of solidarity and community solidarity and the importance of achieving justice for societies in all areas of development.

9-Providing a safe and healthy psychological environment for people with special needs and high-risk groups in accordance with human rights principles and laws in force.

10- Contribute to capacity-building of community members, especially women, youth and children, that contribute to sustainable development.
