Training 20 Workers from the Cleaning and Environmental Improvement Sector on Psychological First Aid Skills
Funded by the European Union (EU) and in partnership with CARE International, the Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation (PCF) implemented a training titled “Psychological First Aid Skills,” targeting 20 workers (men and women) from the cleaning and environmental improvement sector.
The training was conducted from 12 to 13 October 2025, with a total of 6 training hours, as part of the “Peace Gardens Project: Promoting Community Safety through the Rehabilitation of Public Spaces in Seera District – Aden.”
The training aimed to equip participants with essential skills to manage work-related stress and daily emergency situations, and to strengthen their ability to provide psychological first aid to themselves, their colleagues, and community members. It also included practical exercises on how to apply psychological first aid within the workplace.
At the conclusion of the training, participants received certificates of appreciation in recognition of their active participation, commitment, and positive engagement, acknowledging their vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
