On February 12, 2022, the Psychiatric  Care Developmental Foundation in Taiz provided psychological support to the IDPs of Al-Jabiya camp, Maqbna District, Taiz Governorate.

The psychological support session dealt with the concept of mental health and the mechanisms of promoting it in children, positive parenting methods and their relationship to mental health in children, wrong parenting methods and their relationship to psychological and behavioral disorders in children, as well as the most important psychological and behavioral disorders in children and the most important methods for providing psychological support to children.

During the  session questions and inquiries of the participants related to the psychological state of their children in a specialized scientific manner were addressed . At the end of the meeting, it was clarified to the participants that if they wish to present their urgent psychological and family problems, the the Psychiatric  Care Developmental Foundation  provides them with a free hotline (8000202) to present their psychological problems that will be answered About it by specialists in family and psychological counseling.

The presence of disasters, wars and conflicts contribute to the occurrence of psychological problems for children, which affects their psychological and social development, so the Foundation pays special attention to the category of children, especially the displaced.
