The Psychiatric  Care Developmental Foundation participated in the consultative meeting on the legal framework regulating women's rights, which was held by the Ministry of Human Rights, to revive and strengthen the positive cultural and customary heritage that protects and is fair to women.

The two-day meeting discussed the legal framework regulating women's rights in the Yemeni codified philosophy, and a number of working papers on women's rights and their position in Islam in the light of national laws and customary values ​​that enhance the status of women in society.

 The meeting, in which a number of women participated from a number of government agencies and civil society organizations, emphasized the strengthening of the role and status of women in society, touching on the difficulties they face and finding optimal solutions to overcome them in light of national laws and international conventions.
