The Psychological Support Center in Taiz held, this morning, Monday, November 29, 2021, in the center’s hall, a valuable lecture for the staff about obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Where the lecture dealt with obsessive-compulsive disorder in terms of concept, diagnosis and symptoms, and also dealt with the most important symptoms of the obsessive-compulsive personality, and the difference between the obsessive-compulsive personality and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

After that, the forms of obsessive-compulsive disorder were identified, its causes and complications, and then real examples of some cases were given. Finally, the discussion was about how to prevent and treat this disease.

This lecture comes within the scientific program of the Psychiatric  Care Developmental Foundation for the month of November. The lecture was presented by Professor Sami Al-Silwi, a psychologist in the foundation .
