On October 30, 2021, the Psychiatric  Care Developmental Foundation in Taizz held a training course for a group of female volunteers in the humanitarian field, on the disorders resulting from the consumption and abuse of narcotic substances.

Where the trainees were initially acquainted with the concept of narcotic substances and their types in addition to the symptoms resulting from drug abuse and the most important disorders resulting from substance abuse. 

Moreover,the reasons that push young people to abuse substances, and what are the effects and complications that abuse causes on the individual and his environment were discussed. 

 finally, strategies and methods of treatment of addiction were identified.

Present in the course is Mr. Sami Al-Silwi, a psychologist in the  psychological support center.
